The superb Belfast band And So I Watch You From Afar announce a new album and tour

These lads are incredible.

These lads are incredible.

This JOE is a big fan of the post-rock band And So I Watch You From Afar because their three albums have represented some of the most cutting edge, experimental and unique music that any Irish band has produced in a while.

Their most recent album, 2013’s All Hail Bright Futures, earned them their third-in-a-row Choice Music Prize nomination for Irish Album of The Year and the guys are back in the studio working on the follow up.

ASIWYFA have just announced that their fourth full-length album will entitled Heirs and a release date has been scheduled for May 4.

Heirs marks the band’s return to recording as a four-piece and we’re very excited to hear their new material and see it performed in front of a live audience.

While an Irish date hasn’t been listed in their upcoming European Tour, we would be very surprised if Rory and co didn’t fit in a few Irish appearances.

Their energetic, wild and pulsating gigs are definitely worth checking out.

This tune from their album Gangs should shake off any Monday cobwebs that you may have.
