Disappointed Radiohead fans react after missing out on tickets to their Dublin gig

Conor Heneghan

No doubt they’re all listening to Exit Music (For a Film) as we speak.

Tickets for Radiohead’s concert at the 3 Arena in June 2017 went on sale on Friday morning and, as you might expect, demand for tickets was quite high (and dry as it turns out).

The band haven’t played in Ireland since performing in Malahide Castle in 2008, but will be returning to Dublin on June 20 in what is a pretty busy summer for the Oxford group, who will also be headlining Glastonbury next year.

Critical and public acclaim for their latest album, A Moon Shaped Pool, only increased the appeal of heading along to see them in the 3 Arena next summer, but with a capacity of under 10,000, there were always likely to be plenty of disappointed fans missing out.

This just about sums up their current mood…

Many of them took to social media to express said disappointment.
