Rudi Kinsella

“The truth is our Prime Minister is a real racist.”

The Brit Awards took place on Tuesday night, where the UK’s biggest musical stars were rewarded for their efforts over the past 12 months.

On the night, there was live performances from a number of the biggest names in UK music, one of whom was Dave.

The London rapper was performing his song ‘Black’, when he added in some new lyrics to the song on the night.

He referred to Prime Minister Boris Johnson as a “real racist”, and also called out the British media’s treatment of Meghan Markle.

He rapped: “And if somebody hasn’t said it. Equality is a right, it doesn’t deserve credit. If you don’t wanna get it, then you’re never gonna get it. How the news treats Kate versus how they’re treating Megan.”

“It is racist, whether or not it feels racist. The truth is our Prime Minister is a real racist.”

He also paid tribute to Jack Merritt, the victim of the London Bridge terror attack of 2019.
