Video: An Irishman has recorded a song about confession in mass and it’s very truthful

Bless me father for I have sinned

Paul Moore

Bless me father for I have sinned.

If you believe in the fire, brimstone and general vengeful God from the Old Testament then you might consider a trip to your local church over the weekend and a brief confession , especially if you’ve eaten some meat today.

JOE has no idea when our last confession was but we have absolutely nothing to seek forgiveness for, we’re good boys here.

*Cough, cough*.

Richy Sheehy is an Irishman that’s living abroad in Amsterdam so he’s probably enjoying some of the ‘benefits’ that Irish people can’t avail of on Good Friday.

Richy has been striving to rediscover his Irish roots and felt that there’s nothing that’s more Irish than confession.

Backwashing drinks, stealing from the Trocaire box and teasing your siblings are all here.

Have a listen.

Being in exile from the Emerald Isle has left me fearful of losing the essence of my ‘Irish’ so I’ve been rediscovering my roots by engaging in the most Irish of pastimes, confession .
