Video: Bono impersonator joins Bono onstage in L.A. for a sing-song

And he knocks it out of the park

And he knocks it out of the park…

The iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour is wowing crowds in North America, but the crowd at the Forum in Los Angeles were given a treat when they got two Bonos for the price of one.

Bono spotted his impersonator in the crowd and duly brought him onstage to join the band. He was uncannily similar in everything including height, which is no mean achievement given the fact that Bono is no NBA star.

The man’s name is Joe Hier and he calls himself Hollywood Bono.

When U2 launch into Sweetest Thing the impersonator, Joe, does a really good job holding the note and giving it socks.

We are reliably informed that he charged no fee to U2 for his services and was willing to do it pro-bono.

Not even a little bit sorry for that One.
