Soundgarden lead singer Chris Cornell puts his own stamp on a classic.
The 51-year-old singer has one of the best, and most distinctive, voices in the recent history of rock music and this cover of Prince’s classic – made famous by our own Sinéad O’Connor – is wonderful.
It was record during an extended interview that Cornell did with Sirius XM earlier this week, in which he discussed more than 30 years in music and his upcoming album Higher Truth.
