The collaboration was pretty cool…
JOE loves when this happens, two of the biggest bands in the world joining forces to give rain-soaked festival-goers something special to remember.
This time it was Kings of Leon and Coldplay front man Chris Martin at BBC Radio One’s One Big Weekend in Glasgow over the weekend.
KOL’s lead singer Caleb Followill introduced Martin on the stage to help out on the band’s hit song ‘Fans’: “I’d like to introduce the second most famous singer here today. He says he isn’t going to sing but we’ll see.”
Martin played along on his guitar and sang backing vocals because let’s be honest, no one can sing that song like Caleb Followill. It’s still pretty cool.

Kings of Leon play Marley Park on July 4th with Kodaline providing support.
Hat-tip to NME online.
