Video: Kodaline, Disclosure and Arcade Fire’s performances at Glastonbury were amazing

These were some of our favourite moments of the weekend in Somerset…

As you read this, people are still gathering up their tents, their sleeping bags, their belongings and probably their lives after five long, amazing days at Glastonbury. We are still pretty gutted we didn’t get to go but we have told anyone who has been within 10 metres of us that “we are definitely going next year, 100%, we are going to be there no matter what” – a sentence we use at this point every year.

There were some amazing performances over the weekend but we’ve picked out three of our favourites for you.

Kodaline

The Irish lads have done pretty well for themselves in the last two years. They’ve had a number one album, number one singles and the four-piece have toured the world, it’s a real success story and this performance on the Other Stage at Glastonbury proved how far they’ve come. 30,000 people singing your song back at you, doesn’t get much better…

Disclosure

Disclosure have been one of the coolest bands on the planet since their debut album ‘Settle’ was released last year. They’ve redefined electro-dance and every thing they touch turns to gold, they are that good. They are playing Longitude here in Ireland next month but here’s what they did last night on the West Holts stage at Glastonbury…

Arcade Fire

JOE was in Marlay Park to see Arcade Fire last night and it was just brilliant. The Canadian band belted out hit after hit, sorry to anyone standing around us who had to hear us sing, but it was a really special night in the capital. Win Butler and the gang played Glastonbury on Friday night, the set was described “fantastically weird and compelling” but check this out and make up your own mind…

One other performance worth a mention is Metallica playing ‘One’ on Saturday night, check it out here.
