It’s not often that a talent like Gavin James comes along.
The young singer-songwriter from Dublin has impressed throughout his career and is best known for his own music.
James performed in Stormont’s Parliament Buildings this week, however, for BBC Music Day – and decided to go with a cover of the Prince-penned Sinead O’Connor classic Nothing Compares 2 U.
Accompanied by the phenomenal Ulster Orchestra, James delivers a downright spectacular rendition of the song. If the original wasn’t so damn untouchable, we’d be tempted to say that this is just as moving…
As far as covers go, though, you’re unlikely to see one better. Check it out.
