Sinead O’Connor announced this week that she’ll stop performing her most famous song Nothing Compares 2 U in future concerts.
She admitted that after 25 years of singing it, she ran out of anything she could use to bring emotion to it.
While that might be disappointing for fans, it’s a completely understandable reason for doing it.
However, if you love the song, then you have to listen to this amazing cover of it by Irish singer-songwriter Gavin James.
You could hear a pin drop in our office when we played it to everyone, it’s absolutely stunning.
Gavin recorded the song on Belgian radio station MNM this morning.
