Slides are for losers, GoPros are the future…
Mike Perlof, music fan and the type of guy who brings a GoPro camera to a gig, recently had an amazing experience at a rock concert while watching American singer-songwriter Brad Paisley and fellow musicians Charlie Worsham and Randy Houser.
While Perlof was standing right in the front row filming the entire performance, Paisley, without (literally) missing a beat, reached down from the stage, grabbed the camera out of the shocked punter’s hand, and proceeded to play a super slide solo, resulting in the brilliant footage you see below.

“Brad Paisley, Charlie Worsham, and Randy Houser are rocking out when THE MOST AMAZING thing that has ever happened to me at a live show takes place! It was the perfect storm because I happened to not have my case on my GoPro which would have made it nearly impossible to play slide guitar with the camera at that angle that Brad got. Not to mention passing the camera without skipping a single note and throwing it back to me perfectly. INSANE! Its magical moments like these that make live music what it is.”
