Now that Hozier is one of the biggest deals in music there's always going to be someone new that gently pokes fun at his incredible rise. At this stage, 'Take Me To Church' has probably been sang more times around the world than Happy Birthday but we haven't heard the track performed quite like this before. US comedian Kate McKinnon was on Saturday Night Live recently where she did her very best impression of the Wicklow singer. The look is pretty nailed on but the vocal work might suggest that she has been tucking into the cherry wine, all in good fun though.
