Video: Keywest records class cover of Hallelujah in aid of Ireland’s homeless problem

The Keywest lads really are top-notch blokes...

Oisin Collins

Following on from their incredible jam session with homeless Dublin rapper Tommy KD, the lads recorded their own version of Leonard Cohen’s hit Hallelujah.

In this video, the lads can be seen busking around Dublin while powerful contrasting images of rich and poor flash across the screen.

Keywest have already said that all proceeds from this song will be going to Merchants Quay Ireland, who specialise in homeless & drug services, and we can’t commend them enough for their generous actions, especially at this time of year. Legends…

Make sure to check out the tune below and head on over to iTunes (by clicking here) to download your own copy of the Hallelujah cover.

Here’s what Keywest said on YouTube: “‘A Hallelujah for the homeless’ is Keywest’s Christmas charity single in aid of the homeless problem in Ireland.”

We hope it gets to no.1.

Remember, all proceeds are going to help someone who truly needs them, so get clicking!
