Fans of the Grammy Award winning rapper Macklemore certainly weren’t left disappointed as his three sold-out nights at the 3Arena looked like great craic. If you missed out on a ticket then this journalist live tweeting the first gig is definitely a must read.
In between belting out tunes like ‘Downtown’ and ‘Can’t Hold Us’, Macklemore was quite happy to have some fun with the audience as he somehow managed to hurl a cookie onto the top tier of the 3Arena. That must be that’s how the cookie crumbles.
One person that wasn’t feeling crummy after the gig was Wexford man Paddy O’Leary though because he was invited onto the stage to dance with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Did he enjoy himself? You bet your ass he did.
