If you’ve never seen a giant, moonwalking version of Michael Jackson made up of members of a marching band, then you’ve come to the right place
From Bad to Thriller and beyond, Michael Jackson has quite a list of hits to choose from and is one of the most iconic figures in the history of pop music.
That’s why the Ohio State University marching band chose to honour him this week with a fantastic half time show at the game against Iowa, playing some of his classic songs and choreographing a pretty awesome display.
They start off by just making a few shapes but by the time you get to around the four minute mark (we’ve helpfully chosen to start the video here since it’s quite long, but feel free to watch the whole thing) they’ve gone full on incredible by making a moonwalking Michael Jackson, and unveiling a banner with an iconic image of the King of Pop on it, all the while cranking out hits like ‘Man in the Mirror’, ‘Smooth Criminal’ and ‘Bad’.
