Nirvana were inducted in to the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame this week, and they put on an incredible show

One of the most influential bands of the 1990s and the name that is perhaps most identified with the Seattle grunge scene is undoubtedly Nirvana, and this week they were rightly inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame.

The difficulty of performing without Kurt Cobain was one they needed to overcome for the concert on the evening, and they did so by bringing in a series of incredible guest names, including Annie Clark (aka St. Vincent, who has great feet for a multi-instrumentalist) as well as Joan Jett and Lorde, who performed ‘All Apologies’ with Dave Grohl, Pat Smear and Krist Novoselic.

The result is pretty spectacular, and a poignant reminder of what a force this band were in their prime.
