This documentary looks great.
If you’ve read Kurt Cobain’s journal/diary then you’ll know that the iconic singer drew from a wealth of different genres, styles and musical influences as an artist.
Pop, indie, classic rock and metal were all on Cobain’s radar as he frequently scribbled lyrics, drawings and potential band names.
‘Fecal Matter’ was one of the first names that Cobain settled on, he even sent bassist Krist Novoselic some demo tapes under this monkier, but the name selection process for any new band is an evolving process.
This clip from the upcoming Cobain documentary, Montage of Heck, shows just some of the names that the singer was toying with before settling on Nirvana.
Cobain: Montage of Heck is out in cinemas from April 10 and we can’t wait to see it.
