When big rock stars like Bruce Springsteen are on tour you half expect them to be destroying hotel rooms and falling out of night clubs at all hours of the morning, but the Boss had different plans when spending the night in the Marble City ahead of his Nowlan Park gigs this weekend; that’s right, he went bowling. Unfortunately we don’t get to see Bruce hitting a strike or mastering a 7/10 split in the video above, but he was kind enough to sign autographs and chat to fans outside the K-Bowl in Kilkenny last night before his sell-out gigs in the home of hurling in the county on Saturday and Sunday night. Nobody was brave enough to tell the Boss that hurling as opposed to bowling is the main pastime in those parts but he’ll more than make up for it if he wields a hurley and sliotar on stage over the weekend.
