Video: That amazing Cork barman has recorded a charity song and it’s great

We're big fans

Joe Harrington

The viral sensation has recorded his first single.

Cork barman John Horgan captured the imagination of the public last month when the video of him singing in a pub in west Cork went viral.

John’s performance at the Crossroads Bar in Knockavilla was remarkable, and it saw him get an invite to professionally record a song at Music Row Studios.

John went along and belted out the song that made him famous Bright Blue Rose, here’s how he got on there.

The song is available to buy at the Crossroads Bar for €5 and a percentage of the sale will be given to the Cork branch of the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.

What a wonderful man, we wish him all the best with it.

Hat-tip to C103 in Cork.
