VIDEO: Singer William Stokes visits a recording studio for the first time

Tony Cuddihy

Sometimes we love doing what we do.

Last month we told the story of William Stokes from Mayo, a 23-year-old singer who has been living with Hurler Syndrome for his entire life.

Here’s the article.

William’s ambition has always been to record his own CD and when singer and producer Ryan O’Shaughnessy came across his story on JOE, he offered William some free recording time with Bayview Records in Skerries.

William’s friend Sarah King describes him as, “the most positive, happy, caring and selfless person I have ever met even though he has been through more than we could imagine with his condition.”

This is just one of eight songs that William recorded during last week’s session.
