A fantastic story.
Aileen Downes was playing a gig back in October when she silenced a pub with her stunning version of The Dubliners' song The Night Visiting Song. A video of the performance was posted to Facebook and the reaction was so positive, Aileen went and recorded the song properly. The Dublin Legends, who are made up of former members of The Dubliners, heard Aileen's version of the classic Irish song while they were on their European tour and were very impressed. The group play Vicar Street in Dublin tonight (December 28), and they've invited Aileen to sing The Night Visiting Song with them at the gig.
