This is probably not the first time Garth Brooks has been compared to a clown over the last few weeks.
The country music singer last night confirmed (for realsies this time) that none of the five proposed concerts in Croke Park later this month would be going ahead, disappointing hundreds of thousands of fans and bringing to an end what will probably end up being the biggest Irish news story of 2014.
It is a saga which has been the subject of any amount of p*ss taking over the last few days and weeks and we got a good giggle out of this sketch sent into us by Irish writer and actor Karl Harpur.
Karl is based in LA and, with the help of a number of fellow Irish actors and actresses including Caroline Morahan, he attempted to sum up the whole situation by comparing it to trying to book a clown for a party for five consecutive days. Not entirely dissimilar to what had been going on over here in recent times to be honest.
Non-Garth fans who have gotten an evil kick out of the entire mess should enjoy one last parody of the situation while what can Garth fans do at this stage but laugh? Hell, this might even cheer them up a little bit.
