VIDEO: This 10-year-old Irish girl singing ‘Walking in the Air’ might be the next viral sensation

You may have already overheard a few Christmas songs being played on the radio but it’s very unlikely that you’ve heard anything quite like this before.

Ruby O’Kelly is an extremely talented singer and this clip of her singing the iconic Christmas track ‘Walking in the Air’ at Solstice Arts Centre in Navan has already been watched 10,000 times.

Ruby’s mother Sharon is a JOE reader but most importantly, a very proud mother. She says “I’m from Cavan and my 10-year-old daughter Ruby is a budding singer. This week she preformed in the Solstice in Navan and I recorded it before putting the video on Facebook. Dundalk FM  and Northern Sound radio both played it already and the reviews have been just amazing .

It seems that panto fans will also be seeing plenty more of Ruby, she’s starring alongside Al Porter in ‘Freezin’ and with an incredible voice like hers, we may be seeing a lot more of this talented young lady.
