The Dubs are going global.
U2 kicked off their eight night residency in Madison Square Garden in New York on Saturday. As is his wont, Bono took a fan on stage to join the band for some filming and singing. She's a lady called Veronica and she is wearing a Dublin GAA jersey, except she's from Chile. We knew the Dubs were big, but we hadn't realised that they could count Chile as being a hotbed of support. https://youtu.be/b2fjSMxnOrE Or maybe Bono misheard an Irish woman saying she's chilly.
