Madness and mischief. Two things that are massively underrated in the more ‘mundane’ world we live in and while we’re not advocating people to go mad and start annoying people with an endless amount of stupid pranks, there’s a lot to be said for people who just go through life with an attitude of ‘f*k it, I’ll do this for a laugh.’
You know what we’re talking about.
People that just do the most random, weird and hilarious things just for the sheer hell of it.
On that note, we’ve got so much time for this drummer who just thought to themselves ‘you know what, I’m going to dress up as a gigantic strawberry and rock the absolute f**k out of some drums for no apparent reason.’
Well, music publicist Eric Alper shared this old footage of ‘Strawberry Drummer Man’ – that’s what we’re going to call him now – and it’s absolutely glorious.
Apparently, Strawberry Drummer Man has previous with this sort of performance but after this clip went viral, we couldn’t help but share it.

As stated previously, this drummer already has quite a bit of fame and he actually goes by the name Nyango Star – we prefer Strawberry Drummer Man – and he’s from Kuroishi city in Aomori, Japan.
In fact, some of his other performances took the internet by storm. For example, here he is absolutely killing it while playing the Slipknot track Before I Forget.
