Damien Dempsey releases his seventh studio album next month and you can watch the video for 'Soulsun' on JOE first.

The video was directed by legendary rock photographer Steve Gullick, who has shot iconic images of Nirvana, Beck and Nick Cave over the years.

The striking album cover image was created by renowned Dublin graphic artist Maser, who Dempsey worked with on large-scale mural works previously.

The album Soulsun is released on 26th May, pre-order here.

Dempsey plays Black Box, Galway on June 8, Mandela Hall, Belfast on June 9 & Iveagh Gardens, Dublin on July 21.
