WATCH: Green Day bring disabled fan to play guitar with them on stage at London gig

The Californian rock trio continued to show why they’re so loved by their fans during their recent London gig.

Playing to a packed house in the O2 Arena on Wednesday, Rolling Stone showed footage of lead vocalist Billie Lee Armstrong asking if there was anyone in the crowd willing to come up on stage to play guitar with the band.

Without missing a beat, a fan volunteered and rocked up to the stage, sat on the steps leading up to the drum set, and got stuck in with their cover of Operation Ivy’s Knowledge.

Once the song was over, Billie Lee then gifted the fan with his guitar, firmly cementing his place at the top of the Nicest Guys In Rock Music leader-board.

The band, who are currently touring their twelfth studio album Revolution Radio, will be playing a Dublin gig in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham this year on June 29.
