WATCH: Kodaline, Gavin James and more star-studded guests sing ‘Fairytale of New York’ in Dublin pub

Conor Heneghan

If you haven’t gotten in the festive sprit just yet, then this should do the trick.

“‘Fairytale of New York’? Sure I’ve heard that a million times already,” we hear ye cry.

But ye haven’t heard it like it was sang by some of Ireland’s best known musicians during the Christmas Ruby sessions at Doyle’s pub on Dublin’s College Green on Tuesday night.

Kodaline, Gavin James, the Coronas, Little Hours, Roisin O, Craig Gallagher and Hudson Taylor all joined in to perform THE definitive Christmas tune (at least from an Irish perspective) and unless you’re Ebenezer Scrooge, you’ll feel far more Christmassy after giving it a listen.

Lovely.
