It’s one of the most popular songs around at the moment and you likely hear it multiple times a day on the radio, so it’s no surprise that numerous artists are trying to put their stamp on it.

‘Old Town Road’ has now shifted over 5.2 million copies in the US alone. That sum combines sales and streaming equivalents, to give you an idea of what the public are consuming.

So fans of the song were treated to a special performance at Glastonbury when Miley Cyrus brought out her country-star father, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Lil Nas X, to join her in performing the number one hit.

Lil Nas X took a moment to commemorate the occasion on Twitter, writing: “My first time in another country!!! Insane.”

She also came out on stage and, as her Black Mirror alter ego Ashley O, performed both her Nine Inch Nails remake ‘On a Roll’ and a cover of the actual ‘Head Like a Hole’ to the crowd.
