Don’t be surprised if Wax White are headlining festivals soon enough.
Ah, festivals. Remember them? They used to be good.
Anyway, that’s besides the point. We’re here to talk about Wax White.
Wax White is a group made up of two young Dublin rappers, who are as charismatic, cheeky and fun as they are talented when rapping on a beat.
And speaking of beats, their tunes are regularly produced by Sharpson, who is masterful in his own right.
This is no different on their new song ‘Keep It Waxy’, which heads in an unusual, more rock/rap direction than the pair are typically known for, in an attempt to showcase that the group is “not stapled to hip-hop”.
However, it’s still an absolute belter, with the chorus being as catchy a hook as we’ve heard in a long time.
The video is fun too, which is nice to see in an age where music videos are no longer a priority.
