Bertie boy's been having a really rough time of it over the last week or two and it shows absolutely no sign of getting better for the former Teflon Taoiseach.
We reported on Monday that Bertie was found doing a 'Where's Wally' on it in Nigeria. The man who made the anorak even uncooler took home a whopping €30,000 for that one speech alone. At least he has a bank account now.
All the bad publicity must have taken its toll on the company that organises his speaking events. The Washington Speakers Bureau have ripped him off their website with no reason given.
The boys at WSB are obviously sensitive to bad vibes. However, it should be remembered that they still have George Bush and Tony Blair on their books, two men with more than a bit of blood on their hands from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Ahern has only be taken off the website in the last day or so. Even after the findings of the Mahon Tribunal had were released, Bertie was still on the site smiling away beside a gushing biography.
Where to now for Bertie? Maybe he could do some charity work and start making up for that whole property bubble thing.
