24th October 2011
10:54pm BST

It was a day that will live in infamy - the day Ireland was wetter than normal. Why not take a look at how Dundrum Town Centre coped with the great flood of October 24th.
To put today's weather into perspective, Dublin had 90mm of rain, a more than slight increase on the previous historical record, 48mm. Excellent weather your testing out an ark with two of every animal, but rubbish if you wanted to go window shopping.
So rather than gauge the impact of the rotten weather by staring at your soggy jeans that lie atop the radiator right now, take a gander at these YouTube clips of Dundrum Town Centre getting well and truly flooded.
Dundrum's new underwater food court
Looks pretty nifty, eh? They spared no expense, as you can see. We especially like the new 'splash you violently in the face' doors.
Why not visit Dundrum via gondola?
Arrive in style with the new Venetian-style aqua walkways to the centre.
Bring your wellies at the entrance
Be honest, even if it was Christmas Eve and your darling child needed the latest Pokemon Ranger Ninja Turtle action figure, you'd survey the entrance above and get them a Chinese takeaway instead, right?
