If you haven't met Mr. Testicles, the Brazilian mascot for awareness of testicular cancer yet, then you're in for a real treat.
By Adrian Collins
Testicular cancer is no laughing matter, and it's always important to check yourself and ensure that everything is in order down there.
In Brazil, they've come up with a pretty interesting way to promote awareness of testicular cancer amongst the general public: using the Senhor Testículo (Mr. Testicle) mascot.

The Associação de Assistência às Pessoas com Câncer (Association for the Assistance of People with Cancer) in Viçosa a city in the Minas Gerais region of Brazil has adopted him as their representative, and it seems he's beloved by adults and children alike, who were stopping to take photos with him.

According to Brazilian newspaper O Globo the association are considering whether or not they'll keep the mascot after all though, but he's certainly gotten them a fair whack of publicity, if nothing else.
Testicular cancer is one of the most curable form of cancers, with early detection being key, so if you have any questions about testicular or other forms of cancer, check out the Irish Cancer Society.
If you ask us, Senhor Testículo is in need of a bit of a Brazilian himself, some of those hairs are just a bit too realistic. Enjoy your lunch, anyway.
