A 10-year-old boy has died following a quad bike incident in Laois.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of an incident involving a quad bike in the Dooary area of Ballyroan in Laois at 11am on Wednesday (10 February).
A 10-year-old boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Gardaí have confirmed that he since passed away on Thursday (11 February) at Temple Street Hospital.
Investigations are ongoing and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
