11 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed, three more deaths

Very sad news.

Three more people with Covid-19 have died in Ireland.

It brings the overall death toll to 1,730.

At a briefing at the Department of health on Friday, it was confirmed that 11 more cases of Covid-19 have been reported.

It brings the total number of confirmed cases to 25,414.

There are 25 people with Covid-19 being treated in hospitals in the Republic according to new figures from the HSE, with 12 of these being in intensive care.

In Northern Ireland, there has been one further coronavirus death during the past 24 hours, taking the official Department of Health death toll to 548.
