A second person has been released without charge.
A 23-year-old female was arrested on Tuesday night in connection with a fatal shooting, and she is currently detained at Tallaght Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 – Offences Against the State Act 1939.
Gardaí are still investigating the fatal shooting that occurred at Fortunestown Lane in Tallaght, Dublin 24 at approximately 9.20pm on Monday 18 September 2017.
One man aged in his late 20s suffered gunshot wounds and received medical assistance at the scene but was pronounced dead a short time later.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on Monday in connection to the incident, but he was released on Tuesday evening without charge.
A file will now be prepared for the information of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
