Pretty great news to wake up to.
One lucky Irish citizen may well kick off their weekend early after scooping a quarter of a million in Wednesday night’s Lotto Plus 2 draw.
The winning ticket was sold in County Laois.
Those all-important winning numbers are as follows:
8 12 22 23 24 26 and the bonus number of 27
Big congratulations to the lucky Midlander who is now €250,000 richer.
Elsewhere in Wednesday night’s respective National Lottery results, nobody won the overall jackpot of €5,644,363, but over 25 players won prizes including one winner of the Match +5 bonus prize of €47,928.
The winning numbers there were:
2 8 25 33 39 42 with a bonus of 43
There was no winner of the Lotto Plus 1 draw with a top prize of €500,000.
The raffle, meanwhile, was split between 80 winners each receiving €300.
The winning raffle number was 4622
