Just over 100 of the cases on Monday were reported in Dublin.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) has reported that one person has died and that there have been 270 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Ireland on Monday (9 November).
Of the cases reported on Monday, there were:
103 in Dublin
34 in Limerick
20 in Donegal
12 in Cork
9 in Kerry
9 in Kilkenny
8 in Meath
8 in Louth
8 in Roscommon
8 in Tipperary
6 in Clare
5 in Mayo
40 cases in 14 remaining counties
As of 2pm on Monday, 291 Covid-19 patients are hospitalised, 39 of whom are in intensive care units (ICU). There have been 12 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
There has now been a total of 65,659 confirmed cases of Covid-19 and a total of 1,948 Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland to date.
