Sadly, there’s going to be plenty of rain.
Now that the Bank Holiday weekend has ended, we’d like to be bringing you some good news on the weather front but sadly, a status yellow rainfall warning is currently in place for 11 counties.
People living in Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Cavan and Monaghan are being advised to take heed of the conditions because it’s going to be damp and rainy in those counties.
The warning states that heavy rain is expected today and overnight with 30 to 35 mm of rain expected in these areas.
The warning was issued on Tuesday morning at 6am, it came into effect at 7am and will remain in place until 6am on Wednesday morning.
