There’s nothing quite as frustrating as running out of fuel and this unfortunate driver was only 30 yards away from a petrol station.
The motorist in Clonmellon Co. Westmeath may have been fume-ing, but rather than wallow in self pity, he showed engine-uity by putting the watering can from the garden to good use, making a few trips to his house to fill up.
We can only assume he had his own petrol or diesel supply in the back garden in case anything like this actually happened.
We’ve all been there, just never perhaps so tantalisingly close to the petrol pumps.
