A woman in her 40s has been killed and several others are left injured after a horrific road collision in Co. Kilkenny on Wednesday evening (1 December).
Two cars reportedly collided head-on on the N25 Waterford to New Ross near Glenmore at around 6.30 pm.

Gardaí and emergency services rushed to the scene and it is believed that those suffering from injuries are in a serious condition, being rushed to University Hospital Waterford.
The N25 was closed off at Glenmore overnight with local diversions in place.
Gardaí said in a statement that they had attended the scene of the incident after being alerted yesterday evening.
"Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward. Any road users who were travelling on the N25 in Glenmore on Wednesday 1st December 2021 between 6:15pm and 6:40pm and who may have camera footage (including dash cam) is asked to make it available to Gardaí.
