A WWE legend is performing in Dublin this November…

Sock it to me

We imagine he’s going to give it socks.

Mick Foley, better known by his professional wrestling nom-de-guerre ‘Mankind’, is paying a visit to Vicar St. on November 12th to perform his one-man spoken-word stage show, “Tales From Wrestling Past.”

Foley, a three-time WWE champion, has won enormous praise for his stage show.

It boasts the same wealth of wit and warmth that is present in his book Have A Nice Day: A Tale of Blood and Sweatsocks, which topped the New York Times bestseller list for several weeks.

Foley’s show comes highly recommended. Chortle, the UK’s most respected comedy source, has written: “Foley himself is charm personified – eloquent, funny and self-effacing.”

Just don’t expect much of this.
