Sick of sitting around the house bored out of your mind? Then why not check out these three Action Packed activities located around Ireland…

If you fancy getting out of the house for a day to do something that you won’t forget in a hurry, then these awesome activities will most definitely leave you wanting more with thanks to MSL.

1. Drink some of the finest Irish craft beers in Clare

The Doolin Craft Beer Festival is back for the third year running  and it promises to be heaven for Irish craft beer lovers. The Doolin Hotel, which is just a short drive from Lidsdoonvarna via the N67, is ideally located near the Cliffs of Moher and also on the fringes of the Burren National Park.

As well as having over 20 craft beers on offer, there will also be live music provided because lets face it, drinking and dancing go hand-in-hand. Tickets for the festival are €10 which we can all agree will leave you with plenty of money for a few tasty tipples. If you want more information on the festival then check out the website here or if you wan’t further directions to the hotel then take a look here.

Three days of brilliant beers. Thank you very much indeed.

2. Enjoy Europe’s biggest Bob Dylan festival in Donegal

If you’re tired of working on ‘Maggies Farm’ and feel like beating those ‘Subtaranean Homesick Blues’ then the biggest European festival exclusively dedicated to the iconic Bob Dylan  is the perfect escape for you.

The festival is returning to the serene seaside town of Moville in Donegal for its 8th year running and it’s definitely not to be missed for fans of the legendary singer. Once again this festival promises four days of brilliant music as some of Europe’s musicians play some of Dylan’s greatest hits.

Moville is easy to get to as it is just 18 miles north of Derry on a straight road along the picturesque shores of Lough Foyle, no need to take ‘Highway 51’.

As well as performances there will be open mic sessions and readings of some of Dylan’s best work. Why would you want to stay at home when you can live life ‘Like a Rolling Stone’.

The festival takes place on August 21-24.

3. Grab your twin (or someone that looks a lot like you) and head to Twin Fest in Sligo

JOE thinks that there is endless craic to be had in Keash, Co Sligo during Twin Fest. The festival was created in order to bring identical, fraternal twins, triplets, quads and all their families together in one location for just one day.

What’s not to love about a twin’s quiz, ‘twins got talent’ competition and a three legged race. There will also prizes for the youngest, oldest and most alike/unalike set of twins present.

JOE is off to grab any mates we can find and bring them along. Hell, if Danny deVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger can pass themselves off as twins we’re fairly confident of blagging our way throughout the day.

Lets just hope that those creepy twin girls in The Shining don’t turn up. Check out their website for more information.
