It is reported that the actress crashed her car into an LA home.
Actress Anne Heche has reportedly been hospitalised in critical condition following a fiery crash in Los Angeles.
In a statement, the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAPD) said that a solo passenger vehicle struck a two-story home in the Mar Vista neighbourhood on Friday morning (5 August).
It added that the crash caused "structural compromise" to the building and caused a "heavy fire" to break out.
"Firefighters took 65 minutes to access, confine and fully extinguish the stubborn flames within the heavily damaged structure," the LAPD stated.
It also said that one woman was rescued from within the vehicle and was transported to hospital in a critical condition.
Multiple media outlets in the US have reported that the woman in the car was Heche, with TMZ the first to break the story.
Heche has appeared in numerous major movies including Donnie Brasco; I Know What You Did Last Summer; Six Days, Seven Nights; Volcano; Wag the Dog and the 1998 remake of Psycho.
On top of these roles, she was recently cast in HBO's upcoming series The Idol, starring Lily-Rose Depp and The Weeknd.
From 1997 to 2000, the 53-year-old was in a high-profile relationship with Ellen DeGeneres.
