Aer Lingus offers priority boarding for women to mark International Women’s Day

Aer Lingus has announced that it is offering priority boarding to all women taking flights out of Ireland to other European cities on International Women’s Day.

The offer applies to short-haul flights from Dublin, Cork, Shannon, Knock and Belfast to the UK and the rest of Europe only for today, Thursday, 8 March.

The airline is also promoting the offer on one of its Dublin to New York flights, which will be managed by female staff and crew.

Speaking about the offer, Davina Pratt of Aer Lingus said: “We are delighted to highlight International Women’s Day today by offering Priority Boarding to all females travelling on our short-haul flights out of Ireland.

“I firmly believe in recognising and supporting female talent.

“At Aer Lingus we are proud to employ more than 2,000 females and I hope this figure will continue to rise as we see more women in visible leadership positions in Aer Lingus and beyond.”
