Bound to be popular with gin lovers.

While none of us are millionaires, well, if you are then good for you, we’re always on the look out for a few interesting tipples that might take your fancy and given the relatively recent gin craze, it appears that Aldi is about to launch a product that will be very popular with gin lovers.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that the retailer have provided value for money.

Their Oliver Cromwell London Dry Gin won a very prestigious award and the demand for their G&T ice pops was ferocious, and their latest drink is bound to be just as popular.

Forest Fruits Changing Colour gin will be sold in stores in Ireland from 15 October onwards and it’s priced at €19.99.

In case you’re wondering, the beverage changes colour from pale sapphire to a soft pink when you add tonic.

Speaking about this new product, John Curtin from Aldi Ireland has said: “New and exciting products are key for offering Aldi shoppers interesting ways to refresh their drinks cabinets. This gin is a fantastic addition to our award-winning spirits range, which we are delighted to now be bringing to Ireland – following its great success in Scotland.”

The gin is distilled with the blue petals of the Asian butterfly flower and so the PH levels naturally change when anything is added to the gin – therefore it changes colour.

We’re certain that gin connoisseurs won’t be too bothered about the colour, once it tastes nice, but as they say, variety is the spice of life.

As always, please drink responsibly.
