Right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has been permanently banned from Twitter. Twitter announced the news through a series of tweets on Friday night. Jones and his company Info Wars are said to have breached Twitter's abusive behaviour policy. In one of the tweets, Twitter said: "As we continue to increase transparency around our rules and enforcement actions, we wanted to be open about this action given the broad interest in this case.
