Because nothing beats being there, right?
With the multitude of options available when it comes to watching live football matches these days, clubs outside of the elite in the Premier League and elsewhere often face a struggle to gets bums on seats come match day.
With that in mind, it seemed odd that Bolton would use their official Twitter account to encourage supporters to sign up to Sky Sports to watch their home clash with QPR this weekend rather than trying to get them to the Reebok to cheer on their team in person.
One Bolton fan wasn’t long putting the club in their place, however, with a quite brilliant response that has since been deleted but thanks to the wonders of the internet, is still visible for everyone to enjoy.
Being touted as Tweet of the year this. Bolton then deleted their Tweet. #AMF pic.twitter.com/WpR54iagBA
