Appeal made for witnesses following serious road crash in Kerry

Anyone with information on the incident is urged to come forward.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Kerry on Sunday.

The collision occurred around 2.10pm between a motorbike and a car on the N71 between Muckross House and Torc Waterfall in Killarney.

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 20s, was airlifted from the scene to Cork University Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.

The driver of the car was not injured in the incident.

A technical examination of the scene was been carried out by Gardaí and they are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, particularly any road users who may have camera footage, to contact them.
