Argos Ireland has issued a product recall on a batch of upright fan heaters, as it’s understood to pose a risk to those using it.

According to a post on the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission’s (CPCC) website, the product does not meet the requirements of the European Union (Low Voltage Electrical Equipment) Regulations 2016 as it poses an electrical shock and burn risk for users.

The product was on sale in shops around the country from July 2017 until now. However, anyone who bought the affected product, the CPCC asks you that you stop using it ”immediately” and return it to Argos’ nearest store, where you can get a full refund.

For those looking for further information on this recall, you may phone Argos customer services helpline, on their telephone number: 1800535091.
